BACKGROUND
I recently retired after several exciting and rewarding careers. Out of college I put my Criminology degree to work at the City of Orange Police Department – 4 years in a patrol car and 10 years as a fraud detective pursuing scammers and schemers of all kinds. Then, looking to raise the “danger bar” a step or two, I became a Junior High math teacher for several years at a Christian school.
After spending some time with my own private investigation business, I worked as an insurance fraud investigator with Chubb Insurance – suspicious art & jewelry thefts, self-incinerated homes, and phony burglaries. For most of the last 20 years, I have held management positions in corporate security, investigation and loss prevention at the Disneyland Resort, Palace Entertainment (a group of water parks & theme parks) and Goodwill Southern California.
My wife Maureen and I live in Irvine, California. We have two great kids, each of which has produced two perfect grandkids. Most importantly, we both became Christians shortly after we were married, and we now attend Calvary Chapel Living Word in Irvine.
